Mission:

Our mission is to train and support young women of God to live a life that is pleasing and acceptable to Him, by instilling biblically based values and virtues. To teach young women the importance of self-worth and self-determination as God has outlined it in His Word.  To give young women the opportunity to come together and support each other through this program of self discovery in God.

 

Vision:

We seek to facilitate growth in spiritual gifts so that glory is brought to God in all we say and do. As these young women grow in their gifts, we seek to explore the purpose of each gift as it pertains to their futures and career choices. We aspire to train young women to be confident women in Christ as they live in this world but are not of this world. We will equip young women with the tools necessary to make sound choices in their lives. We commit to validating who God has called them to be, while refuting all that the world has labeled them.

 

Curriculum Overview:

This program is a nine (9) month program that can be repeated as often as is desired until the age of 18. After 18 years of age, the young woman can become a mentor to the younger girls in the program. At the end of the curriculum, the girls will have the option to attend a retreat, where they will begin to build on the foundation of lessons learned, wisdom garnered and life changing word affirmations. In addition to the L.A.M.P. sessions, the girls will meet once a month for an exposure trip. There will be guest speakers that have expertise in the area or testimonies of growth in the area. Geared towards girls between the ages of 8-18.

 

L.A.M.P. Sessions are currently offered at select Birmingham City Schools.
